She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmit Banks and Odelia Williams (late Ernest LeCoq Sr.); her daughter Veronica LeCoq; her adoptive son Ronald Jones; and her brother Lloyd (Wilma Brown).
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Nicholas, Norma Jean Dixon, Jennifer Garrett, Linda, Ernest Jr., Monica and Lloyd LeCoq (Troylynne). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 28 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gentilly Baptist Church (5141 Franklin Ave, New Orleans, LA 70122). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
