She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel John Thomas, Sr. and Corinne Mary Descant Thomas; and her siblings, Shirley Naquin (Earl) and Samuel J. Thomas, Jr. (Myrna). She is survived by: her children, Jonathan Norris and Hope McGuire (Lacey); her daughter-in-law Jennifer Norris; and her siblings, Laniel Guillot (Mary), Donald J. Thomas (Laura Alvarez) and Sherran Thomas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
