He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip M. Baptiste, Sr. and Rosetta Murphy Baptiste; his brother John Richard Baptiste; his nephew Michael Johnson; and his sister Dorothy Baptiste Johnson (Nell G. Baptiste).
He is survived by: his sons, Philip M. J. Baptiste, III and Ronald Patterson. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
