He is survived by: his children, Gay Ann Weidenbacher, Bonnie Weidenbacher Kuon (Paul), Susan Weidenbacher Howell, Scott Joseph Weidenbacher and Steven Joseph Weidenbacher (Angelle); his grandchildren, Justin Mills, Scott Lae, Dylan Kuon (Corita), Erin Howell, Joey Howell (Ashley), Hayden Weidenbacher and Hendrix Weidenbacher; his great grandchildren, Nora, Leela, Adira Mills, Caroline, James, John and Samuel Kuon; his cousins, Albert Weidenbacher (Beth), JoNell Dewhirst Savoy and Lynn Dewhirst Blalack; his sibling's children, Arlene Gilchrist, Deborah Gilchrist, Andrea Gilchrist BresueV (Reggie) and Jimmy Gilchrist; his in-laws, Otis (Sonny), Gloria Burmaster, Ashley, Christian Helmstetter, Ronald McDonald and Carol Forcade; and his friends, Michen Houser, Charlie, Jan Crass, Father Bob Masset, Marie Perret and Harold Rousselli. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Dominic Catholic Church (775 Harrison Ave, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
