Richard Vu Nguyen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Vu Nguyen of New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2025 at the age of 39. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his sister Maxiem; and his father Lang Minh Nguyen. He is survived by: his mother Kim Thanh Britton; his children, Taevin Lang Haney, Camden George Nguyen and Carter Vu Nguyen; the mother of his children Kellie Haney; his aunts, Mary and Amy; and his niece Emma Bui. He is also survived by his Uncles, Aunts, niece, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Vietnamese Martyrs Church (172 Oak St, Biloxi, MS 39530). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the VFW Post 6731 (4321 W Gay Rd, D'Iberville, MS 39540).
