He was predeceased by : his mother Zola Dantzler. He is survived by : his wife Ashira Javers Laird; his children, Rickeria Laird and Kartaz Jones; his father Rickey Laird Sr.; his sisters, Ziandria Pipkins, Ziacala Hemphill and Ziakuria Crayton; and his grandmothers, Kattie Dantzler and Sarah Laird. He is also survived by four nephews, two nieces.
