With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosemary Muscemeci Catanese (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on August 4, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Muscemeci and Josephine Muscemeci; and her daughter Karen Catanese. She is survived by: her husband Charles J. Catanese Sr.; her children, Geralynn Phillips (Charles), Charles Catanese Jr. (Cindi) and Phyllis Giffin (Glenn); her grandchildren, Charles "Chip" Catanese III (Aaron), Jessica Phillips, Barrett Phillips (Julianne), Erin Szekely (Tyler), Jacob Giffin (Jordan) and Chloe Catanese; her great grandchildren, Ella Phillips and Roman Phillips; and her sister JoAnn D'Antonio (John). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

To honor Rosemary's deep faith, the family requests Masses in her memory instead of flowers.
