He was predeceased by: his son Charles Forest; his parents, Vernie, Sr. Forest and Florence Forest; his daughter-in-law Lilly Forest; his mother-in-law Elvera Ward; and his siblings-in-law, Cynthia Bienemy (Edward), Paulette Daniels and Larry.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Davis Forest; his children, Felicia, Prisicilla, Joseph (Terranisha), Vernie Forest, III and Moses Clark (LaShawn); his siblings, Jason Forest (Bridget), Clara, Andrella and Vanessa Forest; and his goddaughter Mariana Cordova. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 230 Monroe St, Gretna, LA 70053. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
