She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Bond Walker; her son Raymond Bond Walker, Jr.; and her parents, Virginia Fenner McConnell and Richard Bland McConnell. She is survived by: her sons, Randall Logan Walker and Duncan King Walker; her grandchildren, Amory Walker Levert, Ian McConnell Walker, Logan Alexander Walker and Charlotte Louise Walker; and her great grandchildren, Samuel Patrick Walker, Sidney Chappell Levert, Winnie Lea Walker and Maximilian McConnell Walker.
In lieu of flowers Virginia has requested that all "perform a special act of kindness by reaching out to others unprovoked.".
