He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Regina Overstreet Gordon; his children, Wilnisha Overstreet, William Lindsay Overstreet III and Alexis Overstreet; and his sister Kimberly Overstreet Young.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Charbonnet Funeral Home - Treme' (1615 St Philip St, New Orleans, LA 70116).
