He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward L. Harris Sr. and Lola Mae Harris; and his brother James Shelby Harris. He is survived by : his wife Vicky Harris of Noble, LA; his daughter Sarah Lea Anne Harris; his granddaughters, Blaklee Elizabeth Mann and Teegan Grace Mann; his son Edward Lee Harris III (Kim) of Zwolle, LA; his brothers, Michael Barnes Harris (Peggy) of Shreveport, LA and William Alan Harris (Annita) of Littleton, CO; his niece Lindsey Harris; his daughter Penny; his niece Angela Harris Brakeville (Clayton) of Shreveport, LA; his great-nieces, Shelby Anne Brakeville and Caroline Brakeville; his nephew James Lee Harris (Shannon) of Murfreesboro, TN; and his great-niece Sutton Grace Harris.
The family request that donations to honor his memory be to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
