It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Bertrand (Oberlin, Louisiana), who passed away on August 27, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Guillory and Ena Guillory; her husband Dallas Bertrand; her son Billy Bertrand, Sr.; her grandson Tyrel "Boodie" Bertrand; and her sister Jean Gill.

She is survived by : her sister Barbara Montou of Moss Bluff; her grandchildren, Pylla Bertrand Turner (Kevin) of Grant and Billy Bertrand, Jr.; her wife Emily Bertrand of Oceanside, CA.; her great grandchildren, Christa Taylor (Andrew) of Longville, Lance Turner of Grant, Kyle Bertrand, Kiana Bertrand, Paisley Bertrand and Parker Bertrand; her great great grandchildren, Gracelyn Taylor and Lucas Taylor; and also Matthew Bertrand (Jordan) of Odessa, TX..
