She was predeceased by : her husband Glenn Joseph Deshotel; her son Bryan K. Deshotel; her granddaughter Bonita; her great grandchild Katy Laine Deshotel; and her siblings, J. C. Duplechain and Lovenia Courville.

She is survived by : her children, Randal Q. Deshotel (Catherine Pitre) of Oberlin and Darlene Deshotel of Oberlin; her grandchildren, Heath Deshotel, Shane Deshotel and Yasmine Fuselier; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Jaylei, Khyron, Ethan and Emma.
