She was predeceased by : her former life partner Joseph Roman Daire, Sr.; her husband George Edward Parks; her son Jimmy Daire; her parents, Talbort Dupre and Lelma Ardoin Dupre; her daughters, Carol Daire Mancil, Deborah "Debbie" Fontenot and Charlotte Kennedy; and her siblings, Jackie Fontenot, Larry Dupre and Charlie Dupre.
She is survived by : her children, Joseph Roman Daire, Jr. (Vicki) of Opelousas, Kendra Emmons (Bill) of Clearwater and Becky Doucet of Opelousas; and her brother Gus Dupre (Madeline) of Opelousas. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
