She is survived by: her husband Tory Marcantel; her children, Alexa Marcantel and Grayson Marcantel of Opelousas; her parents, Clyde Lee James (Pikul) of Thailand and Barbara Gary James of Cankton; her brother John James (Alicia) of Cankton; her mother-in-law Harriet Legget (Vern); her stepmother-in-law Rhonda Marcantel; her siblings-in-law, Jordy Marcantel (Victoria) of Maurice, Renee Scallan (Jess) of Port Barre and Keisha Mallet of Opelousas; and her nieces and nephews, Ava Mallet, Krystalin Stelly, Braxton Stelly, Decker Marcantel, Julia James, Joshua James and Jessica James.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4708 I-49 Frontage Rd, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (174 Church St, Grand Coteau, LA 70541).
