He is survived by : his wife Nicole Deshotel Lazard of Opelousas, LA; his children, Jayden Lazard of Opelousas, LA, Jaylon Lazard of Opelousas, LA, Raheem Hicks of Opelousas, LA, Gabrielle Lazard of Opelousas, LA, Amber Papillion of Alexandria, LA and Jordan Lafontaine of Pearland, TX; his pets, Smiley, Princess and Midnight Lazard; and his sisters, Staice Lazard of Lafayette, LA, Tracy Lazard of Lafayette, LA and Shawanna Lavergne (Reginald) of Opelousas, LA.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 7:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Community Chapel Church of God in Christ (1606 College Ave, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
