He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Sr. Dumond and Rita Mae Dumond. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Dumond; his children, John Lee, Selena Henderson, Ava Ramirez, Raven Darensbourg, Crystal Dumond, Kate Dumond, Chasity Dumond and Chantel Dumond; and his siblings, Timmy Dumond, Eric Dumond, Mark Dumond and Christine Lapeyrouse. He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Allemands Mennonite Church (17447 Old Spanish Trail, Des Allemands, LA 70030). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mennonite Cemetery (14605 LA-631, Des Allemands, LA 70030).
