She was predeceased by: her husband Otis "O. B." Ryland; her parents, Ernest Chelette and Beulah Chelette; her foster parents, Harrison Pierce and Elma Pierce; her siblings, James D. Chelette, Addie Belle Sedatal, Hazel Borel, Dorothy Westmoreland, Eddie L. Pierce, Eunice Bryan and Essie Cannon; and her grandmother Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Kendall Ryland (Sharon) of Ruby, Karen L. Erwin of Ruby and Kaye Moreau of Ruby; her son-in-law Terry Moreau of Ruby; and her grandchildren, Todd Erwin, Brad Erwin, Al Hebert, Lane Ryland, Kyle Ryland, Trevor Moreau, Amanda Madden and Kara Ryland. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and three great-great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Hilda Geneva Ryland to Pine Grove Baptist Church.
