He is survived by: his sons, Robert Thornhill of Louisiana and Johnny Herman Thornhill, Jr. of Louisiana; and his sisters, Debra Bordelon (Bobby) of Center Point and Melissa Fitzhugh (Steven) of Texarkana, Arkansas. He is also survived by his grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
