She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Martin and Cleo Kennington Martin; her brother Jim Frank Martin; her husbands, Edward Murphy and Sherman Ouzts; and her sons, Joey, Alvin and Calvin Ouzts.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Murphy (Barbara), Mark Murphy (Debra) and Lois Ouzts Daigle (Kane); and her grandchildren, Larry (Triece), Steven, Clint (Jenny), Edward, Shawn, Todd (Sharleen Murphy), Bruce Fontenot, Brian Ashworth, Nicole (Clay Crochet) and Lacey (Jesse Crump).
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home (233 E Carroll St, Coushatta, LA 71019). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel (233 E Carroll St, Coushatta, LA 71019).
