It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Whited of Pineville, Louisiana, who passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold R. Whited, Sr.; her stepson Reggie Whited; her grandson Joshua Onstad; her parents, Johnny Coody and Lillie Mae Coody; and her brothers, J. W. Coody and David Coody.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Dale Evans (Carol) of Pineville, Johnny Ray Evans (Francine) of Pineville, Sheila Lane (Chuck) of Ball and Sherry Evans of Pineville; and her siblings, Robert Coody (Ethel) of Pineville, Oscar Coody (Jackie) of Pineville, Louella Smith of Deville, Carolyn Coody of Pineville, Barbara Nation of Deville and Linda Killian (Jerry) of Pineville. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
