It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roane E. Hathorn of Pineville, Louisiana, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James M. "Jim" and Sarah Williford Hathorn; his siblings, Donald Ray Hathorn, James Hathorn, Jr., Dr. Fred Hathorn and Rettie H. Lincecum; and his grandson Kent Michael Zabasky.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara Leonard Hathorn; his children, Steve Hathorn of Katy, Tina Hathorn of Carrollton, Dave Hathorn (Ginny) of Broken Arrow, Mike Hathorn (Karen) of Woodworth and Sharon Zabasky (Tom) of Pineville; his grandchildren, Katie Hathorn of Carrollton, Josh Hathorn (Charm) of Shreveport, Caleb Hathorn (Katie) of Shreveport, Daniel Hathorn (Hannah) of Lexington, Michelle Jennings (Nate) of Platte City, Justin Hathorn (Ali) of Woodworth, Holly Malone (Pineville), Zachary Williams (Susan) of Ruston, Sarah Williams (Yessie) of Alexandria and Kristy Lonsberry (Daniel) of Pineville; his siblings, B. H. "Hank" Hathorn (Dorothy) and Vivian Chelette (Bill); and his grandson Thomas Zabasky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; host of other family members and friends.
