He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Conner and Mary Frances Conner; and his siblings, Mary Ann Conner and Donald Earl Conner of Amarillo, TX.. He is survived by : his wife Gleda Ann LaCaze Conner of Pitkin, LA; his daughters, Connie Connor Smith and Charlotte Conner Bordine; his sister Nelda Conner Sharp of Oklahoma City, OK.; his sons-in-law, Joseph "Joe" Smith and William "Billy" Bordine; and his grandchildren, Sean Patrick Conner Smith, Chance O'Neal Bordine, Candyce Smith Clark, Shelby Ann Bordine Johnson, Holly Smith Strother, Haley Smith Harrelson and Julie Ann Smith Odom. He is also survived by other great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
