He was predeceased by : his parents, Mayo West and Etha West; his son Reginald Denane West; and his siblings, Don West, Clifton West, Lester West and Sadie Howell.

He is survived by : his wife Donna Jean West of Pitkin; his children, Jeff West (Shaunda) of Sugartown and Janell LaVergne of Pitkin; his grandchildren, Lauren Clark (Dylan), Trevor West (Bri), Karli West, Garrett LaVergne (Emily), Jason LaVergne and Hayden LaVergne; and his great grandchildren, Kenzee, Khloe, Emma, Liam, Mia and Ryker.
