It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Jeanette Hughes (Pitkin, Louisiana), who passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl McDonald and Bertice McDonald; and her husband Walter Clarence Hughes. She is survived by : her sisters, Earline Dees of Pitkin and Florence Washam (Thomas) of Pitkin; her nieces, Linda Leigh Whitley (Joseph) of Lake Charles and Wynonna Washam (Terrell Morrison); her great-niece Chloe Walton of Lake Charles; and her stepdaughters, Rebecca Hughes of Lake Charles and Belinda Hughes of Hornbeck. She is also survived by friends and relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations made in her memory to Fullerton Baptist Church, 328 Fullerton Blacktop Rd, Pitkin, LA 70656.
