We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2021, at the age of 82, Jackie Olen Byrd (Plain Dealing, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, K. W. Byrd and Thelma Byrd; his former wife Sarah Christine Byrd; and his siblings, Jeraldyn Byrd Crouch and Bobby Byrd.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Oliver Byrd; his sister Martha Ruth Rogers; his sons, Jeff Byrd and Billy Byrd; and his grandchildren, Malcom Hilbunn (Tonya), Curtis Byrd (Allie), Jake Byrd (Abbie), Cory Byrd (Olivia), Kellie Russell (Landon), Craig Byrd and Courtney Byrd. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Sanny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
