It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda M. Lapeze of Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Brenda leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Brenda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest, Sr. Lapeze and Josephine Ragusa Lapeze. She is survived by: her siblings, Ernest Lapeze, Jr. (Anne), Carol Davis (Kline) and Elizabeth Lapeze; her siblings' children, Amanda Lapeze, Joey Lapeze, Brad Davis (Lacie) and Jeff Davis (Allison); and her aunts, Vickie Melancon and Gloria Ragusa.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (57805 Main St, Plaquemine, LA 70764). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
