She was predeceased by : her husband William "Bill" Lavaughan Satterwhite, Sr.; and her parents, Horace Kinsey and Winnie Cavness Kinsey. She is survived by : her children, Bill Satterwhite (Mary), Alexia Satterwhite Stahl (Charles), Ellen Satterwhite Persick (Bill) and Bryan Satterwhite (Paula); and her grandchildren, Taylor Satterwhite (Melissa), Jonathan Satterwhite (Marissa), Heather Stahl Stone (Chad), Ashley Stahl Ardolino, Will Persick (Theresa), Jennifer Persick Fagan, Samantha McCauley Creel (Justin), Brooke Satterwhite Poston (Chris), Jordan Satterwhite Holloway (Phillip) and Courtney McCauley Lemoine (Nick). She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
