It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Troy Paul Martin of Plaquemine, Louisiana, born in White Castle, Louisiana, who passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Michael "Big Mike" Martin Sr.; his parents, Theodore Martin and Nary Gaudet Martin; and his siblings, TJ Martin, Shirley Parker, Manuel Martin, Faye Harris, Augustus Martin, Huey Martin, Vera Martin and Ronnie Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Troy Martin Jr. (Peggy), Joann "Tee Dee" Gipson, David Martin, Nicole Bruno (Mike), Jamie Martin (Tabatha Hebert), Derick Martin and Ashley Martin (Nathan Ezernack); his stepchildren, Myrna Badeaux, Joan Barbier, Elaine "Willie" Cazes (Wilson), Stephanie Lambert and Robert Landry (Theresa); and his close friend CJ. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
