As Carolyn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carolyn. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Joseph Hano (E. J.); and her parents, Joseph Van Allen Corneille and Maude Fletcher Corneille. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Joiner and Stephanie Hano Carter (Bobby Carter); her stepson E. J. Hano; and her brothers, Clyde Corneille (Murlene) and Johnny Corneille (Vicki).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ln Hughes Funeral Services (21400 S I - 12 Service Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Ln Hughes Funeral Services (21400 S I - 12 Service Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454).
