She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Frank Bates, Sr. and Alyne Smith Bates; her siblings, Mildred Harper, Floyce Matherne and Henry Frank Bates, Jr.; and her former husband Hillary Joseph'Billy'Mulkey.
She is survived by: her husband Anthony Vernon Notariano; her children, Debbie Daniels (Jeff), Kim McCullen (Doug), Melissa Milton (Jeremy), Donna DiMattia (Angelo), Wayne Culbreath (Lisa), Billy Mulkey (Theresa) and Lonnie Mulkey (Deanna); and her sister Joyce Bates. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home - Ponchatoula (1190 US-51, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
