With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Helen Boudreaux Hedges of Port Allen, Louisiana, born in Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by : her husband Joseph "Henry" Hedges; her parents, Aston P. Boudreaux and Anna Lena Acosta Boudreaux; her siblings, Jeanette B. Roussel and Roy P. Boudreaux; and her son-in-law Brian "Wiggle" Doiron.

She is survived by : her children, Theresa Hedges Doiron, Cynthia Hedges Matherne (David), Mary Kay Hedges Alford (Ken) and Darron Joseph Hedges (Karen); her brothers, Walter J. Boudreaux (Barbara) and Earl Joseph Boudreaux (Jane); and her grandchildren, Shaun, Ashley, Chad, Melissa, Brandi, Dustin, Amanda, Travis, Jennifer, Maureen and Morgan. She is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren.
