She was predeceased by: her husband Elliot Bourgoyne; her parents, Fernand Kneppert and Marguerite Kneppert; and her siblings, Gerard Kneppert (Jacqueline) and Monique Dussart (Claude).
She is survived by: her sister Genevieve Chism; her children, Daphne Schaefer (John) and Phillip Bourgoyne (Debra); her grandchildren, Chelsea Tackett (Ryan), Marissa Schein (John), Patrick (Mary), Michael, Samuel and Grace Bourgoyne; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor Schein, Delaney, Owen and Cora Tackett.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wilbert Funeral Home (440 S Alexander Ave, Port Allen, LA 70767). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (474 N Jefferson Ave, Port Allen, LA 70767).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or Port City Enterprise.
