He is survived by: his children, Arthur Pickney, Jr. (Carla) of Opelousas, LA, Alice Pickney of Port Barre, LA, Cynthia Sylvester (John, Sr.) of Port Barre, LA, Catherine Noel (Henry, Sr.) of Port Barre, LA and Sophie Castille (Brittany) of Lafayette, LA; his siblings, Peter Pickney, Jr. (Eline) of Opelousas, LA and Fannie Gross of Denham Springs, LA; and his godchild Jessilyn Pickney. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a host of close friends, hunting friends, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
