It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Guidroz Sr. (Port Barre, Louisiana), who passed away on November 11, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Alice Guidroz; his parents, Jean Batist and Agnes Guillory Thompson; and his siblings, Jean Batist "Tex" Guidroz, Jr., Leola Thompson Richard and Eola "Blackie" Thompson.
He is survived by: his son Gerald Murphy Guidroz, Jr. (Jane) of Leonville; his siblings, George Thompson of Port Barre, Joyce Guidroz Stelly of Port Barre, Ida Davenport of Baton Rouge and Laura Ann Thompson Fitzgerald of Port Barre; his grandsons, Corey James Guidroz and Jared Paul Guidroz; and his great grandchildren, Presliey Paige Guidroz, Triston Slayde Guidroz and Trendon Blayde Guidroz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family will accept monetary donations.
