He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Angelle Guidroz; his parents, Jean B. Guidroz, Sr. and Agnes Guillory Guidroz; his daughter Priscilla Gaspard; and his siblings, Harry Guidroz, Leola Thompson and Eola Thompson.
He is survived by: his sons, Dwain Guidroz of Port Barre and Richard Guidroz (Christina) of Port Barre; his siblings, George Thompson of Port Barre, Murphy Guidroz of Opelousas, Joyce Wyble and Laura Fitzgerald; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Eugene Castille of Krotz Springs and Shelly Dubroc of Port Barre. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
