He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonce Higginbotham and Rena Higginbotham; his wife Sally Higginbotham; and his brother Kenneth Higginbotham. He is survived by: his children, Johnny Keye Higginbotham (Tara) of Union Missouri and Kimberly Wilson (Les) of Union, Missouri; his siblings, Michael Higginbotham (Sharron) of Opelousas, Pam Devillier of Teague Texas and Anna Davis (Jason) of Baton Rouge; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Wilson, Trent Speyer and Trinity Higginbotham; and his great grandchild Brynlee Alcorn.
