He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley Meche and Hilda Meche; his daughter Jennifer Meche LaCashio; and his grandson Lance LeBlanc. He is survived by: his wife Janice Stanford Meche of Port Barre; his children, Landry Meche of Denham Springs, Andrew Guidroz II of Arnaudville, Marcus Guidroz (Kat) of Port Barre, Gretchen LeBlanc (Kirt) of Port Barre, Carla Gore of North Carolina and Debbie Guillory (Jimmy) of Grand Prairie; his cousin Emile Landry, Jr. of Arnaudville; and his sister JoAnne Meche Mallet of Leonville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
