He is survived by: his wife Paulette Dutruch Bergeron of Port Barre; his son Kenneth Allen Stermer (Dana) of Oklahoma; his siblings, Donald Bergeron (Rose Duplechain) of Duson, Johnny Bergeron (Betty) of Port Barre, Dianne Bergeron Johnson of Leonville and Kathy Bergeron Stelly (Ray) of Arnaudville; and his grandchildren, Allen, Luke, Kailee and Ryan Stermer.
