He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Theriot and Theresa Theriot of Opelousas; his brothers, Leo Theriot of Lewisburg and Charles Theriot of Opelousas; his children, Maxine and Paul J. Theriot "Tyo" of Opelousas; and his grandson Scotty Vidrine of Opelousas.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Lavergne Theriot of Port Barre; his brother Hilman Theriot (Peggy) of Opelousas; his children, Michael Vidrine (Donna) of Arnaudville, Cindy Reed (Gordy) of Krotz Springs, Robert "Steve" Theriot and Nikki of Grand Prairie; and his daughter-in-law Agnes Theriot of Opelousas. He is also survived by his children, 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
