She is survived by: her son Subester Brooks (Sophie) of Opelousas, LA; her grandchildren, Raven Boxie of Opelousas, LA, Kirsten Boxie of Opelousas, LA and Steven James of Opelousas, LA; her great grandchildren, Brynn Tanner and Annsley Price; her sisters, Mary Dorothy Sylvester (John) of Port Barre, LA, Bessie Castille Ellis and Mary Louise Castille of Port Barre, LA; and her sisters-in-law, Jenny Lee Castille of Port Barre, LA, Joyce Castille of Lake Charles, LA, Tonia Narcisse of Opelousas, LA and Nakkia Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
