He was predeceased by : his parents, Melvin Sr. Ross and Juanita Ross; his wife Evelyn W. Ross; and his siblings, Clyde, Hewitt, Olester and Vincent Ross.

He is survived by : his siblings, Shirley Jason, Rev. Irvin Ross Sr., Helen Ross Trufant and Juanita Ross; his godchildren, Rosemary Weatherstrand, Chalsea Sylve and Auraud Thomas; and his niece Adasha Thomas. He is also survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and devoted friends.
