It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Laverne McCon Martin of Prairieville, Louisiana, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Vance McCon and Irene McCon (Devall); her son Joseph Gaylon Martin; her grandson Stephen Vance Duffy; and her parents-in-law, Ray and Carlease Martin.

She is survived by : her husband Clinton Martin; her children, Russell Martin (Lorey), Jeffery Newsom, Cindy Bettencourt and Lori Cappo (Dominic); and her sisters, Hilda Johnson (Roy) and Wilda Eddleman (Robert). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
