He was predeceased by: his father Richard Leonard "Dick" Womack; his children, Shana Charlene Womack, Timothy Wayne Womack, Charles Richard Womack, Jr. and Chad Robert Womack; his brother Bobby Ray Womack; his grandson Joshua Leonard Womack, Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Richard Buchan and Linda Buchan.

He is survived by: his mother June Womack; his spouse Jody Womack; his children, James R. Womack, Chrystal Nelson, Joshua Leonard Womack (Claudia), Amanda Franks (Michael), Lauren King (Derek), Levi Jones (Samantha) and Leslie Jones (Highway); his grandchildren, Madison Nelson, Jess Nelson, Carter Nelson, Jacie Womack, Leanna Womack, Alyson Womack, Jake Womack, John Womack, Ella Gassiott, Michael Franks III, Kayleigh King, Presley Kate King and Aubree King; his siblings, Linda Blount (Ellis), Kay Knox (Buddy Durbin), David Womack (Sharon) and Tommy Womack (Velvet); and his sister-in-law Tsune Womack. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
