He was predeceased by: his parents, Warner Denton, Sr. and Loretta Denton (Adcock); and his brother Warner W. Denton, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Alice Faye Denton (Dunn) of Quitman; his children, Debra Kay Denton of Winnfield, James David Denton of Natchitoches and Linda Sue Harvey of Quitman; and his grandchildren, Christopher North, Micheal Dewayne North, Kristial Johnston, Tyler Daniel Maxwell, Robert Harvey and Ashley Harvey. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
