Elaine Luquette Bourgeois Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Luquette Bourgeois (Raceland, Louisiana), who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ray M. Bourgeois; her son Tommy Bourgeois; her parents, Graciean Luquette and Blanche Tregre Luquette; her son-in-law Randy Foshee; her great grandchildren, Breanna Bourgeois and Avleigh Rodrigue; and her siblings, Roland Luquette, Richard Luquette, Velma Brunet and Amelie Hebert.

She is survived by: her children, Rebecca "Becky" Foshee, Wayne Bourgeois (Holly), Randy Bourgeois (Phyllis), Dana Bourgeois (Cynthia), Kent Bourgeois (Nichol) and Philip Gros (Phadrea). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St Mary Nativity Church (3500 LA-1, Raceland, LA 70394). A memorial service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Calendar St. Mary Cemetery (3500 LA-1, Raceland, LA 70394).
