He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Barrera and Maria Barrera. He is survived by: his wife Maria Cavazos Barrera; his children, Mary Cortez, Ramon Barrera (Dawn), Juventino Barrera Jr., Daniel Barrera (Kelly), Michelle Harp (Kevin) and Leslie Chatagnier (Wesley); his grandchildren, Jacob Cortez (Jessie), Wesley Barrera (Shannon), Rebecca Barrera (Jacob Brogden), Brenna Barrera Johnson (Aaron), Daniel John Barrera, Kaitlyn Barrera, Ian Harp, Ana Harp, Sofia Chatagnier and Cristian Chatagnier; and his great grandchildren, Atticus Barrera and Rheya Brogden.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Hilary Catholic Church (333 Twin Oaks Dr, Raceland, LA 70394). A Mass will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery (3500 LA-1, Raceland, LA 70394).
