He was predeceased by : his great grandchildren, Lakyn, Lance, Layna, Tobias, Rowan, Brayden and Gannon; his parents, Willie Burnett and Margie Burnett; his wife Annette Marie Burnett; and his daughter Lenora R. Arville.

He is survived by : his children, Louis E. Burnett, LaQuita Smart of Ragley and Lisa M. Seep (Michael) of Lake Charles; and his grandchildren, Carlton Burnett, Carlee Burnett, Christopher Smart, Tyler Smart, Cody Hoffpauir, Jacob Seep and Hannah Veillon.
