She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles "Buster" Melancon, Jr. and Rita Mae Richard Melancon; and her sister Cynthia Melancon Reed. She is survived by : her siblings, Sharon Melancon LeTourneau (Paul LeToureau) and Richard "Ricky" Melancon (Anna Melancon); her brother-in-law Allen Reed; and her nieces and nephews, Lea Melancon, Lauren Melancon, Ashley LeTourneau, Barrett Reed and Matthew LeTourneau.
