She was predeceased by: her husband Irvin Sonnier; her parents, Maurice Guidry and Lydia Richard; her siblings, Lula Simon and Andrus Guidry; her grandson Bryan Comeaux; and her great grandchild Summer Gaudet.
She is survived by: her children, Geraldine (Steve Comeaux Sr.), Pearl (Carroll Owens), Gloria (Kenneth Soileaux), Marlene (Jeffery Gautreaux), Debbie (Chad Prejean), Angel Sonnier and Daniel Romero. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
